Greetings UCM (CMSU) Band Alums! It is with great honor and excitement that I welcome you to this website.   The Alumni Band’s Executive Board goal that this organization would become one of the fastest growing, most dynamic alumni groups on campus, has become a reality!! I encourage you to take the time to explore every facet of this very functional website.

PLEASE REGISTER in the Directory link to keep up to date and in the loop. I also invite you to have fun browsing your friend’s responses to the last few questions. Some bring back forgotten memories and some not so forgotten!

Our webmaster has done a terrific job organizing current events, the latest sign-up forms, merchandise, and fundraising campaigns. Don’t miss your opportunity to purchase something to identify you as a UCM Band Alum or even to own a piece of history.

This website gives everyone a chance to keep informed about calendar dates, enjoy pictures and stories about past events, keep in touch with your friends and colleagues, and pay on line for dues, special offers, store items, and donations.

NEW THIS YEAR FOR FALL HOMECOMING… “110 in 2010”

In order to encourage higher involvement in the Fall Homecoming Event, the Executive Board is putting into place the following new incentives EVERY FIVE YEARS with the idea of getting at least “110 in 2010”, “115 in 2015”, etc!!!!!

•  Special recognition and fellowship luncheon in the Union (details on “Calendar” tab of website)
• Special parade viewing area for band alums and families
• Historical t-shirts with all past names for the school “Linked by Loyalty”
• Special premium seating as close to the 50 as possible
• Special recognition at pre-game on the 50 …no playing J
• All previous opportunities still available (pep rally, parade trailer, ½ time playing of Go Mules)

Ongoing goals of our alumni group remain:

• to support the current department as much as possible
• strengthen the relationships and numbers of our ranks.
